Muse:

Can't Take My Eyes Off You

(Frankie Valli)

Jack White dices up this track with his side- splitting guitar riffs. Now this once light T&S mainstay shocks and surprises-- pleasantly.

Sam Endicott doing his best Bono impression on this underrated track. Few things top this.

A lot of people cover The Beatles (some weirdoes even do it for a living), but Ben Kweller and Albert Hammond Jr. nailed it on this terrific cover of “Wait”.

It seems there exists an unwritten rule of covering -- one that states, “you must only cover songs from eras preceding your own”. Scissor Sisters opted not to adhere on their swanky, lounge- style version of the track that propelled those whimsical Scots to greatness, “Take Me Out”.

Why is Muse one of the best bands out there today? Well, in this instance, they can cover a classic love song and retain its beauty while staying true to their distinct, heavy sound.
